3 Months Old

Here I am, three months old already! I haven't been up to much of anything, just your normal eat, sleep and poop routine! However today did mark another milestone for besides the fact that I am three months! I rolled over for the first time! Mommy was taking pictures of me with any clothes on and I pottied on the the floor. Well, I didn't much like the feel of wetness on my tummy, so over I went. Mommy says that I did it like a pro and she was even a little skeptical that I would do it again because it seemed just too easy for me. Well, I did it several more times this evening before going to bed! I am such a big girl now!

Bath Time with Two

I have loved my baths from day one! And now that I am older I get to take baths with Faith! She helps Mommy get me all clean and smelling yummy! Me and Faith really like our bath time/bedtime routine and it helps us to have really good nights of sleep.

Note from Mommy: for you other Mommy's who like your bath time/bedtime routine, I suggest using Johnson's Bedtime Bath soap. It has a very nice calming smell and my girls really seem to like it. The fragrance for some (those of you who have boys) is a little girly. Since I am a mother of two girls, this works out great for me!

Smiles & Spitup!

Mommy says that she can't believe I grow so fast day to day! My personality is coming through more and more and I am very interested in all that is happening around me. I am a very happy baby who likes to eat, sleep and poop! Oh, and spit up! Mommy says that I can spit up like no baby she has ever seen. Actually she really wouldn't call it a spit up but instead a throw up or on really bad days she calls it projectile vomiting! To prove it, when Mommy came to get me out of bed after a nap she found me covered in my own spit up! I seemed completely content with the fact that I had just covered myself, my clothes and my bed! Mommy says that on days like these she will be glad when I grow out of this stage. Something to do with too much laundry or something!

Precious Bed Time Memories

I am a pretty lucky girl! You might ask why? Well, it's because my big sister loves me! She doesn't mind that I like the same passy's as she does, or that I wear all of her old clothes or that I am starting to play with all of her old toys. I might cry a lot, I might pull her hair every once in a while and I am not much of a play buddy yet. But that seems to be ok by her!

Faith likes for me to be in bed with her while she says her prayers.

2 Months Old

Lilly at 2 months

From Mommy: I can't believe that Lilly is already 2 months old! Were does the time go? The past 2 months have flown by and I so badly want to just slow time down! Lilly started out so tiny and now she is getting so big! I don't know why I am surprised. The same thing happened with the first child! I guess that I was just hoping that time would stand still when Lilly came along and instead it feels like we are in fast forward! Lilly is such a good baby. She has been sleeping through the night for two weeks now and her little personality is starting to shine. She is very even tempered and very patient. She still sleeps a tons and wakes to eat or poop! I don't know how I go so lucky to have another easy baby! Many people told me that since Faith was so easy that Lilly would be my difficult one. That is very far from the truth! She is just as easy, if not easier, than Faith was! I sure am one spoiled mommy!

Lilly, you and your sister are my pride and joy! Whenever I look at you I am reminded of how truly lucky that I am! I love you with all of my hear and always will!

Passy Buddies

Here I am with my big sister Faith. I decided very early on (just like Sissy did) that I was going to love a passy. Mommy tried every passy under the moon and the only ones that I would take are identical to Faith's! There are not many color options with this particular brand so Mommy is thinking up of ways to keep our passy's separate! So far I get the boy colored one and Sissy gets the cute pink and purple one!

Lilly's First Smile!

Here is my first smile caught by a camera! I have been smiling for about two weeks now! I have been a little camera shy so that's why it has taken Mommy so long to get this photo of me. See my BIG eyes and chubby cheeks?

Pretty In Pink

Today was MOPS day and after we got home Mommy wanted to get a shot of me in this outfit. It is one of her favorites! Mommy said that I will be growing out of it any day now. It is one of the last newborn outfits that I can still wear. Mommy says that this make her very sad! She tells me to quite growing all the time, but I have yet to listen!

Crazy, No Good, Bad Hair Day!

Mommy gave me a bath this morning and it made me cranky! And to top that, it made me have crazy, no good, really bad hair! It's sticking up all over the place! Can I please get a bow, hat or something? Maybe I will be a happier camper when I get some food and some sleep!

My Hands

Today I found my hands! I got all excited when I realized that I could get my hands up to my mouth! Since I love a passy so my hands will be good substitutes when I one isn't nearby. Also, I have started to grown out of all my newborn clothes, I am in number 1 diapers, I like to have a formula bottle once every couple of days, I am trying really hard to smile and I spit up like crazy!

One Month Old

Wow, am I getting big! Mommy says that I am growing like a weed! Daddy came home from work today and said that it looked like I had grown while he was gone!

I eat about every 3 hours during the day and I am sleeping much better at night. I still wake up usually 2 times a night. But instead of staying awake I have been going right back to sleep. Actually, last night I went to bed at 10pm and didn't wake up until 6am! Mommy said that I practically slept through the night! Yeah for me! Sorry Mom, no guarantees to more nights like last night though!

Mommy wanted to share some cute pictures from today. If you will notice, I am wearing two different outfits in the photos. That's because I exploded in the green outfit and Mommy had to change me! But not before I made a mess of the outfit, myself and even Mommy! Oh, the wonderful newborn poop stage!

Bath Time

Well, I have decided that I don't much like bath time! Mommy has tried giving me a bath on my own and even a bath with my big sister. I think that she knows now that no matter what she does I won't like bath time any more!

Pickin' My Nose

Mommy thought that this was a funny picture! She caught me picking my nose while I slept! Speaking of sleep, most nights Mommy says that I am a very good sleeper. I am only waking up two time during the night. However, last night when I woke the first time I decided to stay awake for 4 hours! Mommy did not like this very much at all. We both cried a lot!

Mommy wants me to ask if you will pray for us to get this whole sleep thing worked out and that I don't have many more nights like last night!

My First Professional Photo Shoot!

Here are the pictures from my first professional photo shoot! When we got to the the studio I was sound asleep and Mommy thought that this was a great sign. She was never able to get those cute "sleeping baby" photos with Faith because was she stayed awake during the whole photo shoot. So with me being sound asleep, Mommy was very hopeful of getting those shots with me. Wrong! As soon as the photographer had the first shoot laid out I got the hiccups and the rest is history. If you notice a few "asleep like" photos it is only because the photographer was lucky enough to get me with my eyes closed. I was definitely not asleep!

Sisterly Comparison

Well, many of you have asked whether I look much like my big sister did when she was my age, so I decided to post a comparison shot! You can look at the photos and decide for yourself whether we look anything a like!

Mommy and Daddy say that you can definitely tell that we are sisters but that we both have a very different look!

Sisterly Love

We've been taking what Mommy and Daddy call "family naps" on Sunday afternoons when we get home from church. Well, Mommy decided to snap this picture during one of these naps. I had fallen asleep in Mommy's arms and Faith on Mommy's tummy! When she was done napping she slipped out and then me and Faith finished our nap like this!

Mommy and Daddy say that they dread the day that we no longer want to take "family naps"! Until then, they said that they will enjoy every second of every nap with "their girls"!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! I am adjusting to being home very well and Mommy and Daddy are glad that life is slowing down a bit! I am only waking up two times a night! However, I usually like to stay up for a period of time during one of these awake moments. It can last anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours. I am usually not very cranky but I am also not very sleepy! Mom says that I might have my days and nights mixed up! She said it was this way even when I was in her tummy. She would always wake up in the night and she would feel me kicking all around! I will do my best to get this whole sleep thing worked out, ok Mom?
